HINO MAKES A CLEAN SWEEP IN Q2 DATA TRACK CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY
Hino South Africa continued its amazing run of success when it made a clean sweep of all four categories – combined, sales, parts, and service – in the Data Track Comparative Customer Satisfaction Monitor (CCSM) for the second quarter of 2019. This is the fourth successive quarter where Hino has come out top in the combined score in this benchmark for the local trucking industry.
Hino’s combined score of 99.72% for the second quarter of 2019 is the highest ever achieved by a brand in this independent quarterly survey, bettering Hino’s previous record of 99.35% reached in the fourth quarter of 2018. The combined score in the first quarter of 2019 stood at 99.27%.
The Data Track survey is compiled from interviews with truck operators in South Africa regarding the service levels of individual truck manufacturers and importers in terms of sales, technical service, and parts. These comparative quarterly surveys have been conducted since 1989, with the methodology being adapted over the years to ensure ongoing relevance.
Hino scored well over 99% in all the categories in the survey conducted in the second quarter of 2019: 99.80% for parts; 99.47% for sales, and 99.89% for service for a combined score of a record 99.72%. Hino has come out top in the service category for the past five quarters and No. 1 in parts for the past four quarters.
“We are all very proud of our latest record-breaking achievement which is the result of the strong relationship that exists between Hino South Africa, our dealers, suppliers and our customers,” explained Ernie Trautmann, Vice President of Hino SA. “These are the major building blocks in the international Hino Total Support strategy which includes the relationship we all have with Hino Motors Limited of Japan, which provides us with top quality trucks and the systems which assist us in managing all aspects of our business for the ultimate benefit of our customers.”
